Payment & Pricing Overview
UnoLock offers Sovereign and HighRisk for new Safes. Both have the same base price, storage allowance, access-key allowance, and collaboration features. Choose based on what should happen to sensitive Spaces when your safeword PIN is used.

Prices exclude applicable taxes and additional usage. Storage accounting uses 1,073,741,824 bytes per GB. Rates expressed per month describe credit consumption, not an offer of a monthly subscription. New subscriptions are yearly; one-time credit purchases are also available. There is no standard yearly discount. Review the amount and any applicable promotion at checkout.
Create and activate a Safe
Register your access key and PIN, then choose Sovereign or HighRisk. A new Safe remains read-only during setup until the selection is activated after confirmed payment. Returning from checkout alone does not confirm activation: reopen the Safe and check its selected tier and expiry date. See Safe Creation.
FreeSafe and Inheritance are no longer offered for new Safes. The initial read-only setup state is not a usable free plan. Existing legacy Safes may still show their historical tier; the new-Safe choices do not themselves migrate or delete those Safes.
LegacyLink remains available in both current tiers. It is an inheritance feature, not a separate plan. Both tiers also support LockoutGuard, Spaces, Shared Spaces, Vault Messaging, Agent Keys, local file encryption, and Digital Paper Wallet tools.
Credits, usage, and expiry
One credit has a base value of US$1. Credits fund Safe time at the base rate plus chargeable storage and access keys. Additional usage can bring the expiry date forward; removing chargeable usage can extend the remaining time. Agent Keys count toward the access-key allowance and maximum on these tiers.
Pay by card through Stripe or use Bitcoin for a one-time credit purchase. Bitcoin does not create an automatic subscription. Billing is handled separately from encrypted Safe contents; payment providers may collect billing information.
Keep the Safe funded and monitor its displayed expiry. Expiry is not a promise of a lossless conversion to a free plan. See payments, storage costs, and expiry and tier changes.
