Creating Spaces in Your Safe

Overview

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating and managing spaces in your UnoLock vault to organize and segregate sensitive data, available in the Sovereign and HighRisk tiers, with two default spaces in the Inheritance tier for the Duress Decoy feature.

Access Manage Spaces

1. Navigate to the main menu in the UnoLock app.
2. Select Configuration.
3. Click to access space management settings.
4. Note: You will see the two default spaces, Space 1 and Space 2.

Rename a Space

1. Go to the Notes section of your vault.
2. Locate the available spaces at the bottom of the screen.
3. Type a new name into the field to rename a space.
4. Use the right arrow to navigate to the next default space and rename it as needed.

Create a New Space

1. Click the plus icon in the space management or Notes section to create a new space.
2. Note: This is useful for categorizing vault data or preparing additional decoy spaces.

Set Up Decoy Data for Duress Decoy

1. Ensure you are in the designated decoy data space.
2. Return to the Notes section.
3. Create a new note.
4. Add decoy or plausible data to the note, ensuring it appears legitimate while protecting your sensitive information.
5. Optionally, add a crypto wallet for assets intended to be part of your decoy vault.
