Global Redundancy

Sovereign and HighRisk both support storage-region options through Spaces. This capability does not depend on choosing the destructive HighRisk safeword response.

Storage locations

Use the storage choices offered by the app when configuring a Space. Where multi-region storage is selected, encrypted data is replicated across the configured regions. Your files and records are encrypted on the client before upload; storage services do not receive their plaintext.

Region selection helps you control where data is stored. It does not by itself establish legal compliance, and selecting a single region does not provide protection from a whole-region outage.

Redundancy and backups

Replication can improve resilience to storage failures, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Authentication, network access, and the service itself must also be available. Replication is not an independent backup: deletion, including HighRisk deletion of sensitive Spaces, can remove access to replicated data too.
